Application of CO<sub>2</sub> and O<sub>2</sub> Mixed Blowing on the Decarburization and Manganese Retention

چکیده
Adding high carbon ferromanganese in the early decarburization stage of 200 series stainless steel can reduce electrolytic manganese added during alloying; however, oxidation loss is severe. This paper studies CO2 and O2 mixed blowing thermodynamics kinetics on retention steel. The thermodynamic study indicates that reduces when used instead part molten decarburization. Meanwhile, kinetic determines more bottom gas enhances stirring by using technology; thus, condition be improved. industrial experimental identifies tap-to-tap time increases 4–5 minutes for every ton increased blowing. Compared to pure oxygen blowing, applying significantly decarburization, yield 3–5.6%, exhibits a remarkable effect retention.
